Fatal Wrong Way Crash at Oak Street Intersection

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A wrong-way crash on SR-87 Wednesday night proved fatal, 12 News reports.

The crash took place at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection with Oak Street.

One unidentified victim was extricated from their vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead a short time later.

Another person was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Few details about the cause of the crash are available at this time.
