HOV Lane Shut Down Following I-17 SB Crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Drivers in northwest Phoenix faced delays resulting from a collision on I-17 this morning.
According to a report by Arizona DOT, the crash took place shortly before 11 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Glendale Avenue.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, the HOV lane was closed while emergency crews moved the wreckage from the roadway.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. All lanes have since been reopened.
