Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Health Issues

The Honoring Our PACT Act was recently signed into law by President Biden, and since it includes the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022, veterans and their loved ones who were exposed to contaminated water at the Marine Corps base can recover damages for related health issues and finally get justice. 

But what kind of health issues did the exposure potentially cause? People who lived or worked at Camp Lejeune between August 1, 1953, and December 31, 1987, need to be aware of what conditions may have developed as a result of coming into contact with contaminated water at the North Carolina military base.

As many as one million Camp Lejeune veterans, workers, and residents may have been exposed to unsafe chemicals during that time period. For victims of this grave injustice, a long list of health conditions qualify if they want to file a lawsuit, provided they are eligible for damages.
