Phillips Law Group Acts as Christmas Angels for 2022 Holiday Season

At Phillips Law Group, the team works to regularly connect and give back to the Arizona communities we serve through various outreach events. That doesn’t change at Christmastime – indeed, this time of year, everyone at Phillips works harder than ever to get into the giving spirit, and one way we try to make someone’s season bright is through the Christmas Angels program.

This year, thanks to the dedication of a local social worker named Areli Parra, the Team Building Committee at Phillips Law Group connected with a local high school’s Christmas Angels program to make several of the school’s families’ holidays full of Christmas magic. The student body consists of high-achieving students – many of whom eventually attend Ivy League schools – and a number of them come from low-income households. 

Through the program, the team at Phillips was able to sponsor families that demonstrated particular needs including homelessness, chronic illness, or deportation of a parent, and strived to bring them some Christmas cheer by donating items members of each of the families requested for the holiday. Even Santa needs a little bit of help during the busy holiday season, and the Phillips team stepped up and answered his jolly call.

This extraordinary program meant that families that maybe needed a little extra boost during the holidays were shown the love and kindness everyone deserves at Christmas. Phillips Law Group got the chance to step in as “magic elves,” and it was an incredible experience for everyone involved.

The Christmas Angels program partnership is just one of the many opportunities Phillips gets involved in to connect to our community. We also routinely work with organizations like Arizona Helping Hands and My Hope Bag to lend a hand however we’re needed.
