Phillips Law Group Sponsors Holiday Toy Drive

This holiday season, we want to invite you to help make some Christmas wishes come true for children in Sonora, Mexico through our holiday toy drive. Phillips Law Group and the Phillips Law Group Foundation have started a campaign to sponsor underprivileged children from Sonora to help make their holiday dreams a reality this year.

Holiday Toy Drive: How to Participate

Ilce Mondragon, Phillips Law Group’s Community Outreach Coordinator, recently visited the town of Sonora and spent time with the incredible children who live there. She realized that many of the children have never experienced the magic of Christmas and are facing significant challenges due to financial hardships, and wanted to help make a difference – and that’s how the idea for our holiday toy drive was born.

At our office in Phoenix, our team has a Christmas tree adorned with photo ornaments representing the kids of Sonora, and each includes a list of their wishes for Christmas this year. We are inviting our community to help sponsor these kids to give them a holiday they’ll never forget. 

There are several ways to participate in our holiday toy drive. You can sponsor a child by purchasing toys from our Amazon Wish List, by purchasing toys and dropping them off at our office, or by scanning the QR code on this website to donate directly to our GoFundMe campaign. 

The money raised through the GoFundMe campaign will primarily be used to make sure each child receives a special gift, and any remaining funds after purchasing toys and other presents will be directed towards providing these kids with a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. We welcome any amount that you can offer for this amazing cause.

There’s another way you can support one of these deserving children, too. At HelpAChildNow.org, you can directly sponsor one of the kids listed and see exactly what they’re wishing for this year. 

We still have a lot of kids who need a sponsor, and your support can make a real impact in their lives this holiday season. We’d also like to invite you to share this campaign with your network – the more eyes on the cause, the more children we can help this Christmas! The campaign ends on December 22nd, giving us plenty of time to play Santa.
