Phillips Law Group Partners with Arizona Helping Hands for Volunteer Efforts

Phillips Law Group is proud to partner with many different community organizations in the Phoenix area on volunteer efforts and we consider this work just as important as the work we do with our clients every day. One of our long-term partnerships is with Arizona Helping Hands, a non-profit organization that provides essential needs for children in foster care.

Several Phillips Law Group team members regularly participate in volunteer events benefiting AZ Helping Hands – and we have many planned with the organization throughout the rest of the year! 

What is Arizona Helping Hands?

Arizona Helping Hands’ mission is to “provide essential services to children in foster care through our programs promoting safety, permanency, and health.” They do this through many different programs, including efforts to promote safe sleep, back-to-school drives, personalized birthday packages, and more.

AZ Helping Hands became a nonprofit in 1998 and has served tens of thousands of children. The amazing people behind the organization have a vision in which every child in foster care is safe and loved, and Phillips Law Group supports that mission wholeheartedly. 

The organization helped over 2,000 kids in 2022 alone and committed thousands of volunteer hours to help kids in need last year. The team at Phillips got to be involved in some of those efforts and continues their partnership with Arizona Helping Hands into 2023. 

In particular, volunteers from Phillips Law Group often help out with putting together birthday packages and cards for the kids that AZ Helping Hands serves. They help fill out cards for the children in both English and Spanish and help to make sure every child the organization works with gets to feel special on their birthday.

Responsibility to Our Community

At Phillips, we strive to give back to the communities we operate in by participating in different outreach events. These acts of service through outreach efforts outside of the office are deeply important to us and a big part of our work as a firm. 

While we are, of course, extremely committed to our clients, we are also passionate about volunteer work like the efforts we participate in with organizations like Arizona Helping Hands. These nonprofit partners need our help more than ever, and we take our volunteer work with them very seriously. 

We are always open to establishing new volunteer partnerships, and also to welcoming new volunteers at events Phillips Law Group sponsors, like our Feeding Arizona outreach efforts.
